Old pic, replaced this saw with a Unisaw ... Now we are looking toward the middle of the shop, north end.
You can see my North States table saw. I have added an Exaktor EX26 sliding table with a shopmade fence and Delta Unifence to it. There is room enough in front and behind the saw to cut 8' plus boards.

The assembly table I made after seeing one on a podcast on the Woodwhisperer site's. Its a torsion box design and is solid as a rock. I plan on building a cabinet under it full of drawers for more storage.
