I'm 90% certain that I'm only going to do a mechanical restoration (all six bearings, anti-kickback pawls, new power cords, the Forrest blade, stiffener, and a Mister Sawdust table).

But ... yours ... is just a thing of beauty.

If I wind up going farther ... like ... a cosmetic restoration ... rest assured that it will be ALL your fault ;-)

Thanks Bill. Yes I usually use a wire wheel mounted in a angle grinder or bench top grinder.
No parts have been chromed, just polished.

Wow, this is amazing....just starting to restore a few things (Unisaw and 32" bandsaw) and I can't get over just how good you have made these tools look. How do you clean up the tools? Grinder with wire wheel? Where do you get the items chromed?
