Well here it is, all done. I think my step-dad will love it.
I wasn't sure about the leather I used, I have used up all my good leather, but I like the grainy look of this one.

Tim, I haven't made any pens lately. Sold my wood lathe a while back and am working on getting another as soon as I get the metal lathe done.

Your Holster tutorial

What a great job you did, I have been working on a holster , iwb for a 1911. Yours is by far the best I have seen as a teaching aid. Thank you for taking the time.... I am also a member of a wood turning club... made any pens lately??? Tim
